Smartphones under Rs 7,000 in India is not the most popular or most demanding segment. However, there is still a fair amount of interest and users are looking to buy a cheap phone for aged persons or for children's education. While there are not many launches that happened in the past few months in this segment, there are a handful of options available right now in India. 

Once the GST rates got hiked last year and the production was slowed down due to lockdown, the smartphones under Rs 7,000 almost became void. We now have about six smartphones on the list which are all priced under Rs 7,000. And, we have also added one which is above Rs 7,000 which is a good performer and offers more for Rs 999 more.

The phones under Rs 7,000 are entry-level smartphones that will serve the basic purpose for a person. You can buy if you are light users who like to watch some YouTube videos, use a couple of chat apps, and make calls. We also advise you to not install too many apps on board as the performance could take a hit here.
