British Open 2016 viewing guide: Schedules and streaming info

145th Open Championship - Day One

The British Open offers some of the best golf viewing of the year, particularly for American audiences that can watch non-stop golf for the first two days from the middle of the night into the middle of the afternoon. On the weekend, the Open is great breakfast and brunch viewing until a winner is crowned on Sunday afternoon.

NBC and Golf Channel are airing the Open, the game’s oldest major, between their networks, with Golf Channel carrying Thursday and Friday coverage end-to-end. Golf Channel picks up early on the weekends and then hands off to NBC for the late morning and early afternoon.
